Job Description
In this role as Quality Systems Specialist, you oversee the availability, maintenance, and compliance of quality control laboratory systems. You coordinate calibration and maintenance activities, support the introduction of new equipment, and act as a technical point of contact for QC teams. You ensure systems remain compliant with GMP requirements and support documentation, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives. The position combines system coordination, documentation ownership, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Manage QC systems and equipment throughout their lifecycle.
- Coordinate calibration and maintenance without disrupting testing activities.
- Support implementation of new laboratory systems and instruments.
- Act as technical advisor to QC teams and support troubleshooting.
- Organize training for new QC staff.
- Ensure GMP compliance of systems and documentation.
- Support investigations, change controls, and improvement actions.
- Prepare and update SOPs, validation records, and related documentation.
- Support data integrity activities and system access management.
- Act as subject matter expert during audits and inspections.
Requirements
- MBO to MSc level education in a scientific or technical field.
- Interest in laboratory equipment and automated systems.
- GMP experience preferred (1-2 years).
- QC laboratory experience in pharma is a plus.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams.
