We are looking for an experienced supply chain professional with expertise in trade compliance. You will join an international pharmaceutical environment that supports shipments across global regions and ensures that import and export activities meet all regulatory requirements. This role plays an important part in keeping supply chain operations compliant, efficient, and well‑coordinated.

Job Description
In this role, you will support trade compliance activities related to international shipments, with a focus on the EMEA region. You will work closely with logistics teams, regulatory experts, and external partners to make sure that products move smoothly through customs and meet all legal obligations. A key part of your work includes classifying materials, managing documentation, and resolving issues that may delay import or export processes. You will contribute to improving compliance procedures, support audits, analyse data, and help expand trade compliance practices into new markets. This position requires a strong understanding of pharmaceutical trade regulations and the ability to translate them into clear and workable processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate international import and export activities with internal teams, brokers, and logistics partners.
  • Maintain HTS and ECCN classifications and ensure accurate customs documentation.
  • Respond to broker and government agency requests to secure timely customs clearance.
  • Manage trade compliance requirements across multiple global regions, focussing on EMEA.
  • Perform import/export recordkeeping, product country‑of‑origin determination, and customs entry audits.
  • Set up and maintain compliance processes for new markets and operational partners.
  • Work with global tax teams and brokers to ensure correct VAT entry setups.
  • Conduct denied‑party screenings and reconcile customs entries with internal records.
  • Review and apply BTI rulings to relevant products and shipments.
  • Prepare presentations and communicate compliance findings and action plans.
  • Provide compliance training and support for business teams when needed.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in trade compliance roles.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical supply chain and good distribution practices (GDP).
  • MBO or Bachelor education in supply chain, logistics, business administration or similar.
  • Ability to independently solve complex compliance challenges.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and use metrics to support decisions.
  • Skilled at managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to identify process gaps and improve existing workflows.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management skills.


Benefits

  • Location: Hoofddorp region
  • Contract: Temporary contract for 6 months trough Oxford Global Resources, no possibility for extension.
  • Working hours: Full time position (40 hours per week)
  • Salary: €4800,- to €5200,-
