Job Description
Our client are seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. The role involves both electrical and mechanical support within a regulated medical device production environment, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This is an on-site and shift-based role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and troubleshoot to repair faults in electrical and mechanical systems on automated production equipment
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
- Work closely with engineers, production, and quality teams
- Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and company procedures
- Ensure all work complies with regulatory and safety standards
- Identify and order spare parts
Key Requirements
- Mechanical maintenance skills
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing or industrial environment
- Knowledge of GMP and regulated environments
- Experience with automated and high-speed production equipment
- Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors, drives is advantageous.
