Job & Project Description
The protein biochemistry group within our client's R&D (PRD) is looking for an external consultant to provide a flexible scientist to support recombinant protein expression activities.
Tasks
- Conduct, in autonomy, antigen purification by affinity capture and size exclusion using chromatography systems (AKTA system).
- Document experiments in our client's, e-lab notebook application
- Write of relevant (summary) reports
- Participate to weekly lab meetings
- Conduct, in autonomy, antigen characterization by DSL, nanoDSF and octet.
- Document experiments in client's e-lab notebook application

Profile / Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bio-engineering, or relevant experience
- Relevant experience planning and conducting laboratory experiments.
- Proven experience with protein biochemistry laboratory techniques: affinity purification and size exclusion chromatography.
- Experience with DLS, nanoDSF, and octet analyses is a plus.
- Experience with common expression systems E. coli, yeast and mammalian cell lines is a plus
- Proficiency with relevant software packages: Microsoft word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Fluent in French (oral and writing). English (oral and writing) is a plus.
- Result-oriented, rigorous and structured.
- Dynamic, positive, and curious. Open to change/able to easily adapt to changes in the workplace.
