Job description:
This global pharmaceutical company is renowned for its cutting-edge therapies across various medical fields, is looking for a Junior Medical Information Officer.
The Medical Information Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical information services to internal and external stakeholders. This includes responding to medical inquiries on all Client products, distributing latest publications to relevant medical team members, and continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of medical information processes.
Responsibilities:
* Manage intake, dissemination, response, and archiving of medical inquiries on Client products or therapeutic areas from physicians, pharmacists, patients, and other external or internal stakeholders.
* Ensure the accuracy and scientific soundness of responses to medical questions.
* Utilize medical information to add value internally, focusing on customer-centric responses and actively participating in brand teams.
* Act as the voice of healthcare professionals/customers at the Area/Global level.
* Ensure proper utilization of global systems, such as the Virtual Medical Information System (VMIS).
* Share insightful Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) with the medical teams.
Key Interfaces:
* Medical Advisors (MA)
* Medical Science Liaisons (MSL)
* Affiliate Safety Representative (ASR) and backup
* Area/Global Medical Information colleagues
* Medical Operations
Requirements:
* Education: University degree in Life Sciences. Medical or scientific background.
* Experience in clinical research is an asset
* Ability to respond in a professional and scientifically accurate manner to medical inquiries.
* Fluent in English, French with a good level of Dutch
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong team working skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Existing right to work in Europe required
