We are seeking an EDA/CAD Engineer who will support and develop EDA tools for analog RF design.
Job Description
The engineer will be hands-on with all phases of design including PDK/tool flow installation, database archive and validation, tapeout and support. The engineer must have expertise in analog and/or digital circuit design flows and tools. The self-motivated engineer must be able to anticipate problems and devise effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support CAD environment for the design of Analog RF, digital, integrated circuits for cellular applications.
- Contribute to the development of design standards, IC development processes, CAD tools and design flows
- Work in close collaboration with the CAD team in China (no need to travel to China)
- Help IT for the infrastructure definition
- Expertise in analog and/or IC design concepts.
- Must demonstrate superior critical thinking skills, problem solving capabilities and engineering judgment
- Cadence Virtuoso, ADE, Innovus, Genus, etc.
- SKILL programming
- Mentor Calibre (end user support and rule deck writing)
Requirements
- Industry Degree qualified (BS or MS degree)
- Fluent with analog EDA front and back end tools
- An existing right to work in the EU required
