You will be working in a new and up and coming company as a Chemical Engineer (process development). In this role you will be responsible for the following: development of natural products for various industries using techniques such as extraction, purification, and separation on an industrial scale.
Responsibilities:
Adapting lab processes for industrial use (upscale) to increase production and efficiency.
Researching new technologies for optimized extraction, purification, and concentration of desired compound and evaluating their potential for industrial use.
Purchasing of equipment for unit operations and communicating with suppliers.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment involved in the laboratory processes.
Communicate with the lab, operations, and engineering teams regularly to ensure the appropriate implementation and validation of the project.
Requirements:
BSc., MSc., or PhD., in chemical engineering or related scientific disciplines.
A minimum of 3 years of experience dealing with solvent extraction recoveries.
Experience with organic chemistry (carbohydrates).
Terms:
Contract: Permanent
Salary: €3750 - €5400 per month.
Working hours: Fulltime.
Location: County Kerry.
