Oxford Global Resources is looking for an experienced laboratory technician for this position with growth opportunities. In this position, you will work within the media and buffer preparation team in a clean room.

Job Description

Besides the standard production work, you will be the point of contact for issues for the more junior lab technicians on the team and involved in troubleshooting. As a Senior Laboratory Technician you are also responsible for picking up improvement projects and making the planning. Responsibilities

  • Sterile preparation of media, buffers and solutions on production scale
  • Prepare these products ready for use by filtration and sterilization steps
  • Performing first line inspection of the products (ph, visual check, etc)
  • Release and distribution of the approved products to the appropriate departments
  • You will be the point of contact for other lab technicians
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, improvement projects and planning
  • Offering support to the team leader where necessary


Requirements

  • A completed Technical, BSc of MSc education in microbiology, biotechnology, chemistry or equivalent
  • Senior level experience, preferably within a GMP or cleanroom environment
  • Hands-on mentality, quality oriented and accurate
  • Mastery of the English language orally and in writing
  • Dutch is a plus, not a must


Benefits

  • Employment: start through Oxford, prospect of permanent contract
  • Salary indication: €2500 - €3500 gross per month (excl. shift allowance)
  • Working hours: fulltime in 2 shifts (incl. weekends)
