(Senior) Quality Control Analyst

Introduction:
Our client is a global specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing, manufacturing, and distributing therapeutic drugs for autoimmune and rare diseases. We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated QC analyst to join our team.

Job Description:
As a senior QC analyst, you will be responsible for testing and analyzing raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and stability samples. You will draft and review documentation, participate in analytical method transfers and validations, and conduct out-of-specification/out-of-trend result investigations. Additionally, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the QC laboratory, ensuring all activities are completed within the test schedule and stability programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and stability samples
  • Draft and review documentation, including SOPs, protocols, training modules, investigations, reports, and QMS documents
  • Participate in analytical method transfers and method validations as required
  • Conduct and document OOS/OOT result investigations
  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of the QC laboratory
  • Work within the test schedule for the facility and the stability programs
  • General lab housekeeping

Requirements:

  • Minimum BSc in Science
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role with analytical testing (graduates with no work experience will not be considered)
  • Experience with wet chemistry, GC, HPLC, LCMS/MS, and GC desirable
  • Experience with method validation / method development
  • Pharmaceutical drug/process development experience preferable
  • Strong work ethic and ability to function effectively in a teamwork environment
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency with business and technical software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Empower)
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively
  • Good technical and compliance-based writing skills
  • High levels of integrity and trustworthiness
