Job description
As a dedicated and innovative Scientist you will work on the theme of dissolution to contribute the advancement of drug product development. As a Scientist in Dissolution Sciences, you will play a crucial role in developing dissolution and in vitro release methods for various formulations, enhancing the mechanistic understanding of dissolution rates, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support drug product development strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute dissolution experiments, applying cutting-edge scientific principles.
- Enhance the mechanistic comprehension of dissolution rates by utilizing advanced data analysis and modeling techniques.
- Represent the Dissolution Sciences team in cross-functional collaborations with pharmaceutical, clinical, and regulatory experts to drive effective drug product development.
- Contribute to the formulation of biopharmaceutical assessment strategies and deliver clinically relevant dissolution methods and specifications.
Profile
- PhD or MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Knowledge of local delivery formulations and long-acting formulations is a beneficial asset.
- Demonstrated experience in research and development within a GMP environment.
- A rapid learner with a natural scientific curiosity and a penchant for creative problem-solving.
- Proficiency in both written and oral English, enabling effective communication.
- Strong presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and succinctly.
- Knowledge of Dutch or a willingness to learn the basics, fostering effective collaboration within the local context.
