Job Description
You will be part of the EUROPEAN ZONE INNOVATION AND TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT TEAM whose role is to create, develop and test new beverages and new raw materials. You will be working as R&D technician in product development.

Responsibilities

  • Support the product development team on a number of ongoing innovation projects.
  • Support Product Experts with their daily tasks (sample analyses requests/shipments/lab work)
  • Develop and create new beverages from existing (beer) bases (alcoholic and non alcoholic beers, flavoured beers, seltzers, energy drinks) on lab scale.
  • Organize the project's sensory panels set-ups and prepare reports of these.
  • The work is focused on the blending part, so you will not be actively brewing. The primary focus is on blending developed beer bases with flavourings.
  • Analyse the new products and there existing competitors in market through analytical description and testing of physico chemical characteristics in the lab
  • Organise outgoing and incoming shipments of prototypes and ingredients
  • Help the Product Development Innovation projects in a sustainable way for the world's most-loved beers, beverages & iconic brands
  • Share your knowledge on your area of expertise to help create meaningful experiences for our consumers

Requirements

  • Having a bachelor or masters degree related to Brewing or Product Development (e.g. Food Technology, Food Safety, Food Quality, Nutrition & Health, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Brewing, Agronomy, Biochemistry, Bio engineering, Fermentation Technology, Food Chemistry)
  • Passionate about the world of beverages, alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic
  • Able to adapt to an international and dynamic environment
  • Hands-on (lab work)
  • A true owner
  • Proactive, innovative, enthusiastic & result-driven
  • Able to communicate in English and able to work within cross-functional and international project teams
  • Able to work independent & a team player
  • Willing to come out of your comfort zone to learn
  • Existing right to work in Europe required
