Job description

You will be working at an international listed company focused on providing high quality laboratory research and advice for its customers in the pharmaceutical industry.
Within this organizations you will join the QA department, which deals with the management of electronic quality documents, training documentation, changes, exceptions and performing quality audits (internal/external).
As QA manager you oversee a team of ~5 FTE and report directly to the QA Director.Within your position you take care of the further development of the quality system, you are the first point of contact for audits, you carry out evaluation interviews and are responsible for setting targets to be achieved by the department.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the QA Systems team of ~5 FTE, including a QA supervisors that runs the day to day;
  • First point of contact for audits, both internal and external;
  • Thinking along in the further development of the quality systems and improvement projects (Lean);
  • Interacting with international colleagues for a piece of knowledge transfer, for this you will also go abroad a few weeks a year.

Requirements

  • Education at HBO or MSc level in the direction of life science or comparable;
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience as a manager within a QA function, this is not an entry level position;
  • Experience in a GMP or GXP environment is a big plus;
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology service lab is a very big plus;
  • Good communication skills and good command of the English language, Dutch is considered a plus;
  • You are sociable and have a proactive attitude;
  • You are flexible and stress resistant;
