Job Description

Our client is looking for a DSP Process Engineer to develop and implement systems aimed at enhancing efficiency throughout the production of biopharmaceutical products. This role includes managing process design initiatives to ensure the safe and effective production of biopharmaceutical products.The engineer will design cost-effective processes and equipment, evaluate existing systems, and recommend improvements to reduce costs and enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement methods to optimize production processes.
  • Oversee DSP process design projects, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Design processes and manage equipment that are cost-effective and within budget.
  • Evaluate current processes and suggest improvements for cost reduction and productivity enhancement.
  • Configure manufacturing systems to improve sustainability and profitability.
  • Implement methods and process designs, create prototypes, and conduct necessary testing and modifications.

Requirements

  • Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of experience in DSP (downstream processing) process engineering.

  • Experience working in GMP facilities.

  • Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site full-time.
