Job Description:
As a QC Microbiologist, your role is to perform various types of microbiological tests in the Quality Control department. These tests include:
Method qualification, Routine monitoring, In-process, drug substance, and product testing, Stability, and raw material testing.
Additionally, you will have the chance to qualify for HVAC and clean utilities. for internal projects.
Responsibilities:
- Validation and qualification of bioburden testing, endotoxin testing, and, environmental monitoring is a pre.
- Offer microbiological assistance to the Laboratory.
- Provide autoclave validation program.
- Create, sustain, and enhance microbiological methods, guidelines, and SOPs in compliance with quality and regulations to execute analysis in a GMP environment.
- Take part in regulatory audits for Quality and Safety.
- Contribute to identifying necessary equipment and collaborating with vendors to complete tasks, including equipment validation and qualification.
- Organizing and managing all testing of site utilities, including environmental monitoring and water testing programs.
- Execute Root cause analysis, troubleshooting, reporting close outs.
- Conduct monthly environmental review meetings and present trends to the cross-departmental team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or masters in Microbiology/Biology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of QC experience in the pharma or chemical industry.
- Working experience under GMP is a must.
