We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to join our on-site team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience translating designs from first principles into 3D models and prototypes, with a solid track record in New Product Development (NPD).
This role blends design and practical engineering work. You'll be responsible for defining mechanical tests, preparing setups, guiding technicians during execution, and interpreting results. You'll work closely with a senior mechanical engineer who oversees the overall design and testing strategy.
Location: On-site / In-person (Limerick, Ireland)
Key Requirements:
- 5 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
- Proficient in SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of mechanical fundamentals and prototyping.
- Experience in test planning and analysis.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Desirable:
- Background in medical devices, ideally infusion systems.
Familiarity with regulatory and testing standards.
