Oxford's client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to join their team in the south of Ireland for a 6 month contract.
Skills required include:
Experience in Mechanical Design - SOLIDWORKS
Experience in Medical Industry, ideally single use Medical Device
Material - Metal, GlassFibre, Plastic
Description:
This person would be required to take a generalist role in the CAD design of the single use Medical Device , fixturing and tooling in Solidworks from initialization to final handover.
- Independently research, design, develop, modify, and verify components, modules and sub-systems for medical devices.
- Conduct or design advanced prototyping and testing.
- Analyze and correct complex product design issues using independent judgment.
- Work cooperatively with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success
