Experienced Medical Science Liaison (DU/FR/EN)

For one of our pharma clients, we are looking for a trilingual experienced Medical Science Liaison (DU/FR/EN).

Responsibilities

  • Leverages and integrates insights from patients, Health Care Professionals (HCPs), Health Care System (HCS) and policy makers to shape disease area and patient strategies.
  • Co-creates with other functions and develops strategies to maximize clinical potential of compounds at early stage (pre-launch) or post-launch (in-mkt evidence gap)
  • Collaborating with colleagues to actively support meetings by collecting and interpreting insights, competitive intelligence, presentations as well as results.
  • Developing and maintaining long-term professional relationships with investigators, medical specialists, and healthcare professionals.
  • Utilizing superior therapy area and product knowledge to engage with HCPs through non-promotional evidence based scientific dialogue and presentations on scientific research concepts and ideas with investigators
  • Identify and map external stakeholders beyond Healthcare Professionals, aligned to the medical strategy, and in collaboration with other colleagues.
  • Leverages and integrates insights from HCPs, HCS and policy makers to shape disease area and patient strategies
  • Ability to understand unmet medical needs, disease and competitive landscape, treatment practice, patient journey, stakeholder perceptions and how to translate these into strategic advantages while addressing the needs of Health Care
  • Advocates innovations and promotes uptake to stay on the cutting edge of best practice
  • Act as a strategic scientific partner, and collaborate with other colleagues (e.g. Value/Market Access, clinical research colleagues)

Requirements

  • 2-5 years' experience in Medical Affairs including previous Medical Liaison experience
  • Trilingual Dutch, French, and English
  • Demonstrates a customer-focused mindset and passion for the scientific environment
  • Application of active listening skills to gain insights.
  • Strong influential engagement skills
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and reach consensus and decision
  • Strong agile and quick, self-directed learning
  • Working knowledge of the health care system
  • Existing right to work in Europe required
